We are seeking an outstanding Postdoctoral Research Fellow for an immediate appointment with VL4AI at Monash Information Technology, Monash University.
This industry-oriented position involves close collaboration with the Monash Institute of Railway Technology (IRT) and partners across the railway industry, with a focus on cutting-edge computer vision research that delivers real-world impact.
Candidate profile
We are looking for candidates with:
- a strong and well-established research track record, including first-author publications at top-tier computer vision and machine-learning conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR;
- excellent technical, implementation, and software-engineering skills;
- a completed PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a closely related field;
- experience working on industry-linked research projects during a PhD or postdoctoral appointment, which is highly desirable.
Appointment and timing
This is a highly competitive position, and we are looking for a candidate who can start within the next few weeks.
