Our Working Style

We encourage student industry internships and international collaboration. No daily clock-in or clock-out requirement, and we support a flexible and hybrid work style (on-campus and remote). PhD living stipends are approximately AUD 34,000 per year. Student is the first author, and you can expect a weekly one-to-one meeting with direct guidance. No extra workload in engineering projects or proposal writings.

Essential Skills

  • You hold an Honour or Master degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering with a strong academic record.
  • You have a background in machine learning and computer vision.
  • You have strong applied mathematics, statistics, probability, or computational mathematics and physics skills.
  • You have programming experience in one or more languages such as Python, Matlab, C/C++, C#, Java, or CUDA.
  • You communicate fluently in English.
